I have not had much tot talk about lately. Been focusing on too much other crap going on in my life. Lots of personal shit going down. I have worked on my Lexus a little bit. I installed the headers, but with complications. I need to find the time and money to buy a O2 simulator for my oxygen sensors to have the right feedback in order for my car to run properly still, but that will be done in time.
There's a blog for y'all, happy?

Well, I guess I got a few things wrong.
OK, so it took me a while to understand why these things 'didn't work' on my car. First off, the cruise does work, it's just a two-step process instead of a more typical one-step process. On almost any other car I've ever driven you simply have to push the button on the lever that sticks out from the steering column and take your foot of the gas and cruise control takes over. And usually a light that says 'CRUISE' comes on to let you know that your car's cruise control is on. But not on my Lexus....
No, to engage cruise control on it, it requires more that just pushing the button as usual. Well, when you push the button for the cruise control in this car, the 'CRUISE' light still comes on as usual. But when I took my foot off the gas, the car started coasting and slowing down. I was scared. In my mind I was like 'What the fuck, I just bought this car and the cruise control doesn't even work???' But, after reading the owner's manual, to my surprise, there is another step involved after pushing the button. Apparently, to actually set the speed at which you want to cruise, you have to pull down on the lever that the cruise control button is on. Sorry, but I found this to be a very very odd setup. But I guess it's better than thinking it just flat out doesn't work at all....
Also, I was complaining about my remote's trunk release button not working. Well, I was wrong about that also. As it turns out, you have to hold down the trunk release button for like 3-5 seconds before it actually releases. Once again, I've never seen a trunk release button on an RKE take that long. Usually it's almost instantaneous. Or at least only takes half the time this one does.
Now, there's still an issue with my stereo that I'm personally not certain about. The stereo's CD loading seems to work OK again, but I was having a lot of issues with it loading and ejecting discs before. I tested it out again tonight because I feel like it and it loaded and ejected most of the discs OK. Well, I guess I'll just chill on that again until something happens. I'm thinking about buying some components for the stereo to upgrade it a little bit. Oh well, that's for in the future when I have more free time or feel like spending the money on the entertainment value of my car over the performance value.
Oh well, everything else I listed in my last post is still messed up. And I'm out for the night. Later, people.

So far, (not) so good...
So, since I've bought my car, I've found quite a few issues. The driver's side brake light has been out since I bought it and I obviously didn't know at first because I had no clue what some of the warning lights on my car were. So, in a sense, they sold me a street illegal car because I was not aware of the brake light being out and did not consent. Then there's a list of other minor things, such one of my fog lamp lenses being cracked with a hole in it. I can't believe that I didn't see that the tires on the car didn't all match. 3 are Komho and 1 is a Bridgestone. Let's see, I'm also concerned that the cruise control does not work and that the trunk release button on my key/remote does not work either.
But I would have to say the one thing that pisses me off the most is the fact that the expensive ass after market stereo that they used as such a selling point for the car. It 's a really nice system with an LCD touch screen and it plays CDs and DVDs. But, as it turns out, the stereo does not load discs poperly at all. I have tried 2 discs, and bother have either jammed loading in or jammed unloading the discs. When I try to eject or load the discs, I get a mechanical error warning on the screen.
Now, this is rather inconvenient for me now as it is lent and I do not have the time to take off of work to drive my car down and somehow find a way back up here. I'm going to do everything within my power to get this shit taken care of and make it as convenient for me as possible. That is all.
Oh well, I'm done with post. Peace.

My new ride has arrived. Please welcome: the 2003 Lexus IS 300.
Yes, it is mine. A 2003 Lexus IS 300. Chassis code JCE-10(L). Just around 70k miles. I traded in the A4 that was plaguing me for over 4 months.
It is silver, has 11 spoke aluminum wheels with Komho tires. It's a manual with stock short-throw shifter. And yes, of course, it has limited-slip differential installed. It also came with an advanced Kenwood stereo system (DVD, Nav, 6 CD changer).
I have had such a long day especially after picking up this car. I'm worn out so I'm cutting this short and I'm going to bed. Good night.

My first blog here... maybe an introduction is in order.
Well, first off, I guess I would start with my intentions for starting this blog:
Mostly, I'd like to use to talk about my small passion for cars. I have many opinions on cars. I have many perspectives on cars. I have many fantasies with cars.... disregard that last bit, it came off a little wrong. Anyways, I both love and hate cars. And when I so choose, I will make my voice heard here. Currently, I own two cars: a beat-up 96 Chevy Cavalier sedan which I use mainly for work, and an 01 Audi A4 1.8T Quattro, which I don't polan on keeping very long because I have had it for only four months and it has been an absolute headache. I have had probably $3000 or more worth of warranty work done on it and it still has not made me happy. So, within the coming weeks/months, I plan on tracking down a different car that will make me happy again and selling/trading in the A4.
Here's some other things about me....
Job: Currently, I deliver food for a living, mostly chicken, but there's other shit that we have, like pizzas and sandwiches. I work pretty much everyday there. It's not bad money and I don't mind the hours.
Social: I'm not very. I don't have time for many friends and even less for a girlfriend. Last one I had broke my heart and walked all over my feelings, though I still feel like sending her a birthday card. But now I'm just too busy because I work pretty much all week. Maybe sometime later down the road I will find a decent girl and do more with my friends, but now just isn't the time. Maybe things will change for me over the next summer.
Personal: Pfft, not going there.
Hobbies: Not many I keep up with at the moment. Mainly I just play video games or sit on the computer at night after work.
And that is all I can think of at the time of this blog. So if you care, comment or whatnot. I probably won't give two shits what you have to say anyways, so go right fucking ahead.
